Oil & Gas - Headquartered in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Sherritt is the largest independent oil producer in Cuba, and has operations globally. During our more than 20-year history, Sherritt has repeatedly proven our ability to find, develop and produce oil in Cuba’s complex fold and thrust belt reservoir.

Power - Sherritt’s Power business operates in Cuba through a one-third interest in Energas S.A., which processes the natural gas from oil fields along Cuba’s north coast to generate approximately 14% of the country’s electricity consumption. Our Power team is focused on effectively utilizing local energy resources in a responsible and sustainable manner to help build and support local communities.

Sherritt Technologies is a leader in the development and commercialization of proprietary hydrometallurgical processes. Our team of project managers, research professionals, engineers and technologists are located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta but the scope and impact of our work is global. This team has the unique opportunity to support Sherritt’s own world-class nickel mining facilities and to work with external clients through a range of services from consultation to laboratory services to plant design.
