Sherritt in Pakistan

Since 1986, Sherritt has held various exploration acreage positions in Pakistan. Currently, Sherritt holds a 15.79% working interest in the Badar Mining Lease, located in the central Indus Basin, which was issued by the government of Pakistan in March 2002.

On April 8, 2006 the Badar field was put into production. During 2009, the Badar field produced approximately 2.2 MMcf/d of gas, net to the Corporation.
