Sherritt Metals processes, refines, markets and sells commodity nickel and cobalt worldwide. It has mining operations and associated processing facilities in Moa, Cuba; refining facilities in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada (twenty minutes from Edmonton); international marketing and sales operations in the Bahamas; and is currently expanding its mining and refining operations into Madagascar. Sherritt Metals also produces fertilizer products, primarily for sale in western Canada.
